Fattmerchant Releases Net Promoter Score, Surpassing Industry Average and Setting Payments Standard

Payment technology provider’s newest customer satisfaction results put its user experience and technology on par with top organizations

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fattmerchant, a payment technology provider saving businesses thousands with its subscription-based model, today announces its high-ranking Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 73. The score is based on a customer satisfaction survey from December 2017, and is 85 points higher than the previously reported -12 industry average for traditional merchant service providers.

"In an industry generally known for complex and clunky technology solutions, aggressive sales tactics and confusing pricing, Fattmerchant's class-leading NPS of 73 is proof that our small and medium-sized business customers genuinely view us as a cut above the mediocrity of the marketplace," said Steve Karp, vice president of strategy at Fattmerchant. "Our NPS not only ranks Fattmerchant as a best-in-class provider for the merchant services industry, where scores are often in the single digits or worse, but puts us in the company of world-class, customer-centric organizations such as Charles Schwab, American Express, USAA, Tesla Motors, Apple and Zappos.com"

NPS is a commonly used and proven metric that measures overall customer experience and loyalty. It was created by Satmetrix Systems, Inc., Bain & Company, and first introduced by Fred Reichheld in his 2003 Harvard Business Review article. The score is based on a 200-point scale ranging from -100 to 100. A positive NPS is a strong indicator of future business growth, customer satisfaction, and customer retention.

“We’re continuously looking to provide our customers with the best service and overall experience possible,” said Suneera Madhani, founder and CEO of Fattmerchant. “A lot of business owners don’t think very highly of their merchant service providers, but we’re changing that. There’s no reason why the payments process can’t be completely seamless and transparent, and I think our latest NPS results prove we’re making that happen.”

Fatmerchant recently added a location in Atlanta, Ga. and expanded its Orlando, Fla. office in late 2017. The payment technology company is also on target to make 50 hires in 2018 outside of its Orlando headquarters.
