Compliance for Complex Businesses

Compliance management can be a burden for any business, but for highly regulated institutions, it’s the only way to success. Fulcrum discovered a small venture backed company back in 2001, then called ConstructWare. It’s goal was to help companies in regulated industries address the most important facets of a comprehensive governance, risk and compliance management program—reducing risks, reducing costs, improving efficiencies and protecting a company’s brand.

Since investing, Fulcrum maintained 2 board seats, helping to drive the strategic vision of the company and ultimately rebranding to Compliance 360. Through it’s investment, C360 was able to recruit Steve McGraw to join as CEO as well as Gary Christian as COO — two roles vital for continued growth. It was during this time that Fulcrum was able to establish a best-in-breed webinar strategy that continues to this day and is deployed across various investments.

While investing in Compliance 360, Fulcrum worked with management to build relationships with strategic partners that ultimately led to a successful exit to SAI Global. Compliance 360 continues to serve over 300 customers in financial services, insurance, and other highly regulated complex business environments with it’s web-based software suite that includes products addressing IT governance, policies and procedures management, incident management, surveys, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and enterprise risk management.

Compliance360 was based in Alpharetta, GA.

Our partnering with Fulcrum was critical to accelerating the growth of C360. They certainly brought more than just capital to the table as their Partners utilized their operating experience to help guide overall strategy and direction of the Company.
