Carol Larner is vice president of investments for Cox Enterprises, a leading communications, media and automotive services company.
She is responsible for the investment management and oversight of Cox’s pension fund assets, as well as the company’s 401(k) investment options. She served for 10 years as the inaugural treasurer of the Cox Employee Relief Fund, which assists Cox employees impacted by natural disasters, catastrophic injury or illness, or loss of a family member.
Larner joined Cox in 1996 and previously served as assistant vice president and assistant treasurer. Prior to Cox, she worked in corporate finance and trust finance at Southern Company.
She is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received dual degrees in business and economics from Oglethorpe University, where she graduated with honors and previously served on its alumni board. She currently serves on the advisory committee for various funds managed by Battery Ventures and TCW/Regiment Capital Advisors. She is an active member of the Young Men’s Service League (YMSL), a philanthropic organization established to encourage mothers/sons to volunteer together in their communities.
